Container throughput of Transiidikesuse AS (Estonia) up 9% to 61.6 TEUs in QI'13
In January-March, 2013, container throughput of Transiidikesuse AS (Muuga, Estonia) totaled 61.5 TEUs (+9%, year-on-year), the company informs.
In March, Transiidikeskuse AS handled 22.963 TEUs (+13%, year-on-year).
Total turnover of the Concern’s general cargo and containerized cargo terminals made 654,957 tonnes.
«From March we increased the number of container trains to Kaluga carrying Mitsubishi components. With the launch of rail container line Muuga-Kaluga alone we plan to increase container turnover by 10% per year,” said Erik Laidvee, Chairman of Transiidikeskuse.
He also added that there is a plan to launch two new projects from April. They are to accelerate performance growth rates. For the moment being, the growth is hindered by the complete load of warehouses.
Transiidikeskuse AS is an operator of container and general cargo terminals in the port of Muuga.
