Throughput of Rosterminalugol reached 3 mln tonnes from start of 2013
From the beginning of 2013, Rosterminalugol OJSC handled 3 mln t of coal, the company’s press center informs.
The milestone tonne of coal was loaded on April 2, 2013 to the Miho Pracat.
In 2012, this result was reached on April 12 (loaded to Zagreb).
OJSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Ust-Luga commercial seaport. The terminal’s design annual capacity is 12 million tonnes of coal. Rosterminalugol specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters and depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able to accommodate 240-m-long, 32.2-m-wide vessels. In 2012, coal exports via the terminal gained 26%, year-over-year, to 13.76 million tonnes.
