Net profit of Murmansk Commercial Seaport up 50.4% to RUB 638.4 mln in 2012
In 2012, net profit of Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC calculated under Russian Accounting Standard increased by 50.4%, year-on-year, to RUB 638.388 mln, the company informs. In the accounting period, MCS revenue totaled RUB 3,653,250,000 (+18.4%, year-on-year).
Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC was established in 1994 on base of the public enterprise and nowadays it is one of Russia’s busiest ports. The port has 17 berths with total length of some 3,000 meters. The length and depth enables the port to handle vessels of up to 15.5 meters in draught and over 265 meters in length. In 2012, the company handled 15.69 mln t of cargo.
