Ukrferry extends validity of winter surcharge for shipping of loaded rail wagons
Shipping company Ukrferry has announced the extension of the validity of winter surcharge (WSC) for shipping of loaded rail due to severe navigation conditions, the company says in its press release.
So, the validity of the winter surcharge (WSC) is extended for shipping of loaded rail wagons – except for those loaded with cargoes covered by special rates as agreed between shipping companies – trucks, buses, long vehicles and other wheeled rolling units with length exceeding 6m along Ilyichevsk-Poti, Poti-Ilyichevsk, Ilyichevsk-Batumi, Batumi- Ilyichevsk routes till and including April 15, 2013.
Shipping company Ukrferry was established in 1995. Its core business is regular ferry services within the Black Sea. The company operates and manages rail ferries Geroi Shipki, Geroi Plevny, automobile-passenger ferry Kaledonia as well as rail-automobile ferry Greifswald.
