New staff schedule comes into effect at Makarov University from April 1
From April 1, new staff schedule and new personnel compensation policy will be introduced at the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping. “The new schedule is based on the old one but we have tried to reduce everything to a common denominator,” PortNews IAA journalist cites the University Rector Sergey Baryshnikov.
He emphasized that «duplicate» members of the assisting personnel have been shifted to other positions only upon their consent.
The Makarov University comprises 16 faculties, 8 branches of higher professional education (HPE) and secondary professional education (SPE). The University numbers some 15,000 students and cadets mastering HPE and SPE programs. The full time department numbers 3,267 student s and 2,273 cadets (5,540 – overall). The teaching personnel consists of 860 persons.
The admission quotas for 2013 will be available upon the results of the open public competition of RF Ministry of Education and Science scheduled for April 15, 2013.
