Tariff Service sets tolls for ship transits via Azov-Don waterways
The Russian Federal Tariff Service (FTS of RF) has approved rates of fees charged for services provided to ships using inland waterways by Azov-Don State Basin Department of Waterways and Shipping, the federal enterprise said. The new rates effective as prescribed by RF legislation.
Current rates of tolls paid by ships to transit inland waterways were approved by the FTS order (№ 324-t/3) on 11.22.2010 (registered by Russia’s Ministry of Justice on 12.27.2010, Reg. No 19401).
The tariffs regulator’s Board decided to approve the rate of pilotage charges to ensure the safe shipping on inland waterways, provided by the Azov-Don basin authority on the inland waterways stretch Aksai-Volgodonsk, RUB 0.662 per 1,000 cbm of vessel’s conventional capacity for 1 km distance traveled, including the service provided net cost.
Pilotage charges from foreign vessels – RUB 1,581.72 ($51.50) / hour. From Russian vessels passing inland waterways with the obligatory pilotage service – RUB 425.31 / hour.
Toll charged from foreign ships to transit inland waterways in the area of Aksai - Lock Number 15 – RUB 28.66 ($0.93) / 1,000 cbm of conventional capacity for 1 km distance traveled.
