Emirates Shipping Line enters into a partnership with APL and OOCL on CIX service
Emirates Shipping Line today, announced that it will enter into a partnership with APL and OOCL on their CIX service and will be a vessel sharing partner on the service. Emirates will be branding this new service as the China India Express Service CIS, restructuring its Hypergalex service.
The CIS service is a premier service focusing on ESL customers needs of reliability, stability and efficiency.
CIS will provide comprehensive port connections and greater coverage to the key trading and commercial centres of Far East and South East Asia as well as the Indian Sub-Continent. Its new port rotation with its first sailing from Xingang will commence from 21st March 2013.
The port rotation will be as follows:
Xingang / Dalian / Qingdao / Pusan / Hong Kong / Chiwan / Singapore / Colombo / Nhava Sheva / Pipavav / Port Klang / Singapore / Hong Kong / Xingang.
CIS is a weekly direct service with fast transit time, linking the major ports including Bohai Bay, Pusan, Chiwan and Nhava Sheva in this rapid growing region.
