FGC finalizes hook-up of 110kV substation for Ust-Luga terminal of Rosneftbunker
Northwest Trunk Power Grids, an affiliate of JSC Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System (FGC UES) has completed the grid connection of the 110 kV substation "Slobodka", feeding the Oil Terminal owned by JSC Rosneftbunker and the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga facility for handling and fractionation of stable gas condensate and by-products, to the 330 kV Kingiseppskaya substation in Leningrad region. This enables the power supply to the consumers in the amount of 47 MW.
The oil product terminal of Rosneftbunker (operating on behalf of oil trader Gunvor), was launched in a test mode on January 31, 2011. The projected annual capacity of the facility is 30 million tonnes. The total cost of the project is about RUB 26 billion.
Production complex of NOVATEK in Ust-Luga includes facilities for handling and fractionation of stable gas condensate. The complex is able to process 6 million tonnes of condensate a year and will produce light and heavy naphtha, diesel fuel, jet fuel and heating oil. The facility second phase intended for 3 million tonnes is now performing start-up operations. Construction works have started at the facility Phase 2 sites.
