SOCAR sees crude exports decline to 3.170 tonnes
Crude oil volume exported by SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline for the past two months shrank by 96,000 metric tons to 3.17 million mt, 1news.az reports, citing the company statistics.
Crude oil shipments in January totaled 1.42 million tonnes, in February - 1.74 million tonnes.
The BTC network is 1,768 km, of which the 443-km-long pipeline runs through Azerbaijan, 248 km - in Georgia and 1,076 km - in Turkey.
The BTC Co. stockholders are: BP (30.1%); AzBTC (25,00%); Chevron (8.90%); StatoilHydro (8.71%); TPAO (6.53%); ENI (5.00%); Total (5.00%), Itochu (3.40%); INPEX (2.50%), ConocoPhillips (2,50%), and Hess (2.36%).
