Tariff agency to cancel regulation of Novorossiysk port stevedores’ pricing
The Federal Tariff Service of Russia (FTS), a Russian price and tariff regulator, will not monitor the prices set by stevedoring companies for their services at the port of Novorossiysk, the draft order posted on the agency’s web site said.
According to the document, the FTS is set to cancel the regulation of prices for loading / unloading and storage of freight (other than crude and oil products), established by the following stevedore companies: PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, OJSC Novoroslesexport, OJSC Novorossiysk Shipyard, OJSC Novorossiysk Nodal Forwarding Company.
However, the natural monopolies entities will have to report to the FTS on their quarter and annual prices set for loading / unloading and storage services (except for crude / oil products) in the port, not later than 45 or 90 days after a quarter / year end, accordingly.
