Commercial Port of Vladivostok handles 2,824-TEU container ship CMA CGM Mimosa (photo)
Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP OJSC) has handled container ship CMA CGM Mimosa – new vessel of FESCO China Direct Line Service (FCDL) with the container capacity of 2,824 TEUs, the company’s press center informs.
850 TEUs unloaded and 1,276 TEUs loaded in the port. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, all cargo handling operations were fulfilled in time which took 36 hours, the release reads.
It is the first call of CMA CGM Mimosa to Vladivostok since the vessel was put on FCDL in January 2013. This motor ship thus joined other vessels of the service - FESCO Diomid and FESCO Almathea, with the capacity of 3,091 TEUs each.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok will service FESCO China Direct Line three times a week at the stevedore’s container terminal. FCDL rotation includes the ports of Hong Kong, Chiwan, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Vostochny.
