Bunker prices in North and Western Europe ended the week with higher prices, Ship & Bunker data showed, but movements in the rest of the EMEA region were mixed.
Rotterdam IFO380 climbed $5.00 to $613.50 per metric tonne (pmt), down $3.50 week-on-week, and $33.50 higher than December 18, 2012. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved up $3.50 to $646.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $32.50 pmt. MGO climbed $6.00 to $945.50 pmt, down $5.50 since last Friday.
Fujairah IFO380 moved up for a second consecutive day rising $4.00 to $623.50 pmt, $1.50 lower than this time last week, and $22.50 higher than month-on-month. MGO in the port moved up $0.50 to $1000.00 pmt, down $0.50 week-on-week, and making a $-12.00 change since December 18, 2012.
Istanbul IFO380 made a gain for the first time since January 11, 2013 adding $3.50 to $652.50 pmt, losing $6.50 since last Friday, and a $+43.00 increase month-on-month. MGO fell for a second consecutive day down $0.50 to $1014.50 pmt, up $6.00 week-on-week.
Piraeus IFO380 climbed $2.00 to $637.00 pmt, a loss of $15.50 since last Friday, and up $41.00 since December 18, 2012. LS380 climbed $5.50 to $703.00 making the premium for the ECA compliant fuel $66.00 pmt. MGO in Piraeus moved down for a second consecutive day falling $3.50 to $983.50 pmt, down $7.00 week-on-week.
