Port Vysotsky LLC ups coal transshipment by 2.9% to 3.29 mln t in 2012
In 2012 Port Vysotsky LLC increased transshipment of Russian thermal coal by 2.9% to 3,295,727 tons, y-o-y, the company’s press center reports. In December 2012 the company shipped 319,824 tons of Russian thermal coal.
Port Vysotsky LLC specializes in transshipment of Russian coal to the Western Europe. In 2011 the company’s turnover was increased 39% - to 3,201,751 tons of coal. The port’s water area and the approach canal are 12.7 meters deep with the width of the canal totaling 200 metres. Maximal draft of vessels accepted in the port is 11.9 meters which enables the port to accept 45,000-dwt vessels. From August 2012 the company started handling Panamax size vessels.
