Inatech appoints European sales leader for Marine Solutions Unit
Software and IT services company Inatech has chosen Alok Sharma as the new European head of sales for its Marine Solutions Unit, Ship & Bunker reports.
Sharma will work from the company's United Kingdom headquarters, with responsibility for sales of the company's ShipTECH Shipping Solution and BunkerTECH Bunkering Solution.
A Master Mariner with an MBA from the London Business School, Sharma previously held senior positions at the Royal Mail, Quantum, and the CSAV Group and has experience sailing on cargo vessels.
"I am delighted that we were able to attract such an industry heavy-weight to our Marine Solutions Unit," said Inatech CEO Jean-Hervé Jenn.
"When we launched the Unit at SIBCON 2012 we made a commitment to become a leading player in the fuel and bunker procurement solutions space.
"The appointment of Alok demonstrates our desire to develop our expertise and leadership within the European Market."
Inatech say its BunkerTECH and ShipTECH products are designed to help companies make the best possible decisions on fueling and bunker trading based on current data and price trends.
