Rosmorrechflot releases plan of Russia’s inland waterways overhaul
Romorrechflot is continuing to implement the project on reconstruction of shipping channels, entire infrastructure of Russia’s inland waterways during interseasonal period, the federal agency press release said.
Among the major facilities to be renovated is the FBI White Sea-Onega State Basin Department, including the 1st and 2nd phases of integrated overhaul project. Work continues at the locks No 4-7,10,12,15 of the White Sea-Baltic Canal, the construction of residential buildings is under way.
SBD Volga-Balt: the construction of the first phase of the second line of Nizhne-Svirsky waterway lock.
Federal North Dvina SBD continues works on the 1st phase of the integrated renovation of the waterways facilities.
Equipment replacement on Gorodetsky and Samara water engineering system is ongoing within an integrated project of reconstruction of shipping waterways and waterworks of the Federal Volga basin department.
Kama SBD and FSUE Moscow Canal are performing renovation of sluice gates of the Chaikovsky lock, upgrading of pumping stations, etc.
