Epic and Pantheon merge to form E-P Gas
Epic Shipping Holdings and Pantheon have merged to form Singapore-headquarter E-P Gas, Seatrade Asia online reports. Epic Pantheon International Gas Shipping (E-P Gas) operates a fleet of 22 gas carriers of between 3,200 cu m and 7,200 cu m.
The new joint joint venture also received what was described as “significant new equity” from Jeffries Capital Partners, DVB Bank shipping fund Shipping and Intermodal Investment Management, Diamantis Pateras Maritime, and some members of the board of directors, including Chris Buttery, retired chairman and ceo of Pacific Basin Shipping.
"E-P Gas has the scale, fleet and operational capabilities to serve our customers on a truly global basis. We will continue to leverage our in-house commercial and technical expertise to provide the safest, most dependable solutions for our customers," said Jeremy Lee, managing director and head of commercial operations.
The company is headquartered in Singapore with offices in Athens and London.
