Russia’s sanitary watchdog suspends import of U.S. beef liver in Big Port St. Petersburg
Experts of St. Petersburg regional department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has suspended the import of 25 tons of U.S. beef liver in the Big Port St. Petersburg, the service press service said.
During the inspection the Rosselkhoznadzor specialists found boxes with the date of production, not stated in the veterinary certificate of the importing country. The cargo import was suspended pending clarification of the USA APHIS.
