Orient Overseas International revenues up 10.9% in Q3
Revenues for Orient Overseas International (OOIL), parent of box line Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), were up 10.9% in the third quarter, Seatrade Asia online reports.
OOIL reported in an operational update that revenues for the third quarter ended 30 September were $1.59bn up 10.9% on the same period last year.
Average revenues per teu were up 7.2% compared to the same quarter last year with total volumes up 3.4% at 1.36m teu. Loadable capacity increased by 5.3% over same period in 2011.
