China-Mult Trans adds calls to Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company terminal
With the first call of the 716teu Xin He Da at the Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company terminal China-Mult Trans Co., Ltd. has launched new container line Middle China-Russia Service (MCR) between Lyanyangan - Ningbo - Shanghai – Vostochny, the Russian stevedore press release said.
The container ship was handled at VSC’ terminal on October 17. China-Mult Co. deployed two boxships on the weekly service: Xin He Da and Xin Qun Dao.
Middle China-Russia Service is the fourteenth line opened at the terminal of Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company in addition to already operating shipping lines of APL, ZIM, MAERSK, CMA CGM, Sinokor, SASCO, FESCO China Direct Line, Korean Soviet Direct Line, Japan Trans Siberian, and short sea container traffic of the TEP, FML (FESCO Magadan Line), KLS Kamchatka and KLS Sakhalin.
LLC Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company is the largest container terminal in the Russian Far East in Vostochny Port. The VSC is majority owned (75%) by Global Ports Group. 25% of shares are owned by port operator DPW.
