RUMI to host International conference in Moscow, Nov 22
The International annual conference “Marine insurance in Russia 2012” will be held on November 22, 2012 at Lotte Plaza Hotel in Moscow, the RUMI press release said.
The conference organizer is Russian Union of Marine Insurers (RUMI), the Organizing Committee is Information & Analytical Agency Portnews. The event General Media partner is Marine Insurance Journal.
The Russian marine insurance is a dramatically growing segment of the global insurance market. So, the conference is going to address several issues: How Russian insurers could improve their reputation in world and how could they protect their interests; what are the recommendations of insurers and surveyors to shipowners for emergency response to any incidents on board, etc.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the Russian Transportation Ministry and the Ministry of Finance, members of the Russian Union of Marine Insurers (RUMI), members of the Association of the Shipping Companies, members of the Union of Russian Shipowners, Russian and foreign insurance companies, P& I Clubs, maritime lawyers and surveyors.
