CPV handles heavylift units for gold mining company (photo release)
Commercial Port of Vladivostok (CPV) has successfully handled heavy lift equipment for a Russian gold mining company, the stevedoring company press release said.
Transshipment of two autoclaves, each weighing 116 tons, length of 15 m and a diameter of 3.9 m, was carried out in several stages on CPV’s Berth Number 5. First the heavylifts were offloaded by two Gottwarld mobile cranes (100mt / 63mt) from the vessel and placed on the dock for customs clearance. Then, the multi-ton equipment was loaded onto flatcars.
Commercial Seaport of Vladivostok, member of FESCO Transport Group, owns and operates its assets at the port of Vladivostok, a premier Russian seaport in the Far East region.
