Northern River Shipping names new CEO
Stockholders of Northern Shipping at the Extraordinary General Meeting on October 8, 2012 elected Gennady Lyudogovsky as CEO of NRS, its parent company Murmansk Shipping reports.
The newly elected CEO has already assumed his official duties. Lyudogovsky is set to implement his program aimed at the development of the company, the report said.
Gennady Lyudogovsky was born May 8, 1950 in Mstislavl of Mogilev region (Belarus). He was graduated from the Astrakhan River College, Volga State Academy of Water Transport, PhD.
JSC Northern River Shipping is one of the largest transportation companies of the European North of Russia. The company specializes in transportation of cargo and passengers by inland waterway vessels, in coastal shipping, cargo transportation by mixed "river-sea" class vessels. NRS operates a fleet of about 200 inland and "river-sea" ships. The annual traffic volume is more than 0.7 million tons. JSC Northern River Shipping is part of Murmansk Shipping Company.
