Laky Verf Shipyard delivers serial patrol boat Grozny
Shlisselburg-based Laky Verf Shipayrd held trials of the ninth and final vessel of a rescue and patrol boats package designed by Laky Verf (Project № 13). The boat named Grozny was built for the Russian Interior Ministry, the shipbuilding firm said.
After successful trials the boat was handed over to the Customer, the East Siberian transport police. The Interior Ministry’s department rated high the boat’s maneuvering and performance characteristics.
Overall, from November 2010 to September 2012 the shipyard executed contracts (on schedule) for nine service workboats of Project 13M ordered for federal law enforcement agencies.
Today, Laky Verf is working on a new, modified project of multipurpose boats of Project 14M.
Laky Verf Ltd. based at Nevsky Shipyard owns its own production facilities. Since 2005, the company has been building steel and aluminum motor luxury yachts complying with the European standards and belonging to the A-Ocean Class. The vessels are being built under the survey of Bureau Veritas. Interior and exterior of the yachts are developed by the famous Dutch designers Guido de Groot (Guido de Groot Design) and Frank Laupman (Omega Architects).
