Wednesday bunker prices firmed in many ports throughout Europe and the Americas, while key ports in Asia were still mostly without direction, Ship & Bunker reports.
Singapore IFO380 was steady at $569.50, and MGO fell by $2.50 bringing the price to $805.00 per metric tonne (pmt).
Hong Kong 380 cSt product lost $2.00 falling to $583.00, a new low for the month.
In Rotterdam the price of IFO380 moved up for the third consecutive day this week, gaining $0.50 to $546.00, while MGO also moved up gaining $3.00 to $818.00 pmt.
Fujairah IFO380 dropped $3.00 to $574.50, and MGO lost $4.00 bringing the price down to $987.50 pmt.
Houston 380 cSt grade fuel gained on yesterday's $547.00, the lowest price of the month, moving up $3.50 to $550.50 pmt.
LA / Long Beach saw all grades move up for the third consecutive day this week, with IFO380 gaining $9.50 and moving the price to $582.50.
Wednesday saw crude firming, with the WTI spot price gaining $0.85 and closing at $80.21 per barrel.
