Yaroslavsky Shipyard to lay down second LCAC of 21820 Project
Yaroslavsky Shipyard (managing company VP Finsudprom) plans to hold today, June 21, a keel-laying ceremony for the second air cushioned landing craft of project 21820, the shipbuilding firm said.
The contract for the 21820 project serial boats was signed between Yaroslavsky Shipyard and the Russian Ministry of Defense on June 23, 2011.
The project designer - Nizhny Novgorod-headquartered Hydrofoil Design Bureau.
Yaroslavsky Shipbuilding Plant is based in central Russia on the Volga river. Incorporated in 1993. The company specializes in building civilian and warships.
