Crude exports via Belokamenka FSO set to rise - Rosnefteflot
Exports of Russian crude oil through the Belokamenka FSO have been stabilized and are set to increase, the FSO operator said.
Oleg Tereshchenko, CEO of Rosnefteflot, who attended the handing over ceremony of the RN Polaris tanker to RN-Bunker in St. Petersburg, said that in the near future crude shipments from the facility are expected to grow.
In 2011, crude volume exported through the FSO plummeted year-over-year nearly by 58% to 6.29 million tons.
OJSC "Rosnefteflot (a subsidiary of state-owned Rosneft and of SCF Group), has been on the Russian market since 1998. The company’s fleet comprises 25 multipurpose ships. The vessels are operated through Rosnefteflot’s regional affiliates based in Nakhodka, Kholmsk, Murmansk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, etc. Rosnefteflot operates the Murmansk-based 360,000DWT Belokamenka tanker, the country's largest Floating Storage and Offloading Vessel (FSO).
