Bunker prices mainly following crude down on Wednesday
Bunker prices in many ports followed crude down Wednesday as it sank to an eight month low, but key ports Rotterdam and Singapore saw gains, Ship and Bunker reports.
In Singapore IFO380 firmed with a gain of $5.00 moving the price to $592.00, and MGO also moved up gaining $2.50 to $834.00 per metric tonne (pmt).
Rotterdam saw IFO380 gain $4.00 to $568.50, while in Piraeus IFO380 dropped for a third consecutive day loosing $4.00 bringing the price to $591.50, the lowest price this month.
Fujairah 380 cSt product was also down for the third consecutive day, loosing $1.00 bringing the price to $592.00 pmt.
IFO380 in Houston fell once again loosing $1.50 to $573.50, the lowest price this month.
LA / Long Beach continued on its downward trend, now on its ninth consecutive day, with the price of IFO380 falling $3.00 to $574.00 pmt.
Crude futures saw WTI shed $2.23 from its price and closing at $81.80 per barrel.
