Russian Gov't not to lift tax burden for five years
The Russian government has agreed not to raise the tax burden over the next five years, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at a business breakfast during the 16th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum today.
"If some changes are made in taxation, they will be in favor of our taxpayers," RBC quoted the minister as saying.
President Vladimir Putin pledged in February when he was prime minister not to increase taxes for taxpayers operating in non-core sectors of the economy.
