Commissioning of Rosneft’s terminal in Tuapse may boost bunker market by 10-15% - "RN-Bunker"
Commissioning of a deep-water berth of the Tuapse-based terminal of Rosneft is expected to push fuel sales up at the local bunker market by 10-15%, an RN-Bunker official told PortNews.
Interim deputy CEO of RN-Bunker Ltd. Andrew Tuchnin, who participated in a handing over ceremony in St. Petersburg for the RN Polaris to RN-Bunker under charter contract, said that now tankers of capacity 80,000 tons are able to dock at the terminal’s berth. Previously, the facility was able to accommodate only 35,000-ton vessels. The Port of Tuapse bunker market is estimated at 2,000-3,000 tons per month.
