P K Sinha, Secretary, MoS on maiden visit to Mumbai Port
Shri Pradeep Kumar Sinha- IAS upon assuming office of Secretary, Ministry of Shipping on his maiden visit to Mumbai Port called upon the stake holders viz. Shipping Industry barons and trade union veterans particularly Shri S. R. Kulkarni, Daily Shipping Times reports.
Dwelling into the significant occasion, it was elaborated that on Shri P K Sinha’s maiden visit to Mumbai Port.
Shri S. R. Kulkarni the veteran President of All India Port & Dock Workers’ Federation for over 50 years and the Trustee of the Mumbai Port Trust for 54 years in succession, accorded him a warm welcome assuring him of his unstinted support to help regain the past glory of Mumbai Port. Shri Kulkarni appealed to him to take immediate initiative to constitute Bi-partite Wage Board Committee (BWNC) for ushering Negotiations for Wage Revision.
Shri S R Kulkarni appreciated the dynamism exhibited by Shri Rajiv Gupta-IRS-ME, Chairman, MbPT and hoped his constructive stewardship will continue.
Shri S R Kulkarni assured Shri P K Sinha of clock workers support in chartering a progressive future for Mumbai Port Trust and other Major Ports of the country.
