STS information service provider adds new tanker manager
Tanker concern Euronav Ship Management has signed up to Dynamarine’s online ship-to-ship transfer information service (OSIS).Through the company’s portal ONLINESTS.NET introduced in January this year, OSIS offers a dedicated information platform for assessing ship-to-ship (STS) transfer operations, Tanker Operator reports.
Participation in OSIS is voluntary and free of charge.
Shipowners may extract statistics with respect to participating vessel performance, STS service providers’ performance, as well as POAC performance without adding further work load to their shore personnel, Dynamarine explained.
Data is classified and treated with confidentiality. Each owner is able to view his or her own statistics for the relevant STS operations.
Until now more than 150 vessels from 15 shipping companies worldwide use the database to maintain statistics and extract KPI’s for their fleet STS operations.
OSIS has more than 500 entries and is growing on a daily basis, the company claimed.
More than 184 management companies have recorded STS operations for their vessels, for 39 different charterers, 28 STS service providers, 293 participating vessels, at 40 STS locations with 171 separate POAC’s.
Dynamarine said that in the near future, upon request, data will be made available to STS service providers and their respective POACs.
