Otto Marine form joint venture with India's Limin Marine
Otto Marine is making its first foray into the Indian offshore market, Seatrade Asia Online reports. The Singapore-listed company said it had sold 40 m anchor handling tug, Swordfish 3, to its joint venture Limin Marine. The tug has been completed at Otto’s shipyard in Batam and will shortly be deployed in India by Limin.
“We are delighted to enter the India market through our joint venture company with Limin Marine. This will be Otto Marine’s maiden entry in India and the vessel Swordfish 3 will be supporting a pipelay barge for offshore construction projects,” Michael See, cfo of Otto.
