Safmarine wins Ford Awards for service excellence
Regional shipping line Safmarine was proud to receive three prestigious awards at Ford Motor Company of South Africa’s (FMCSA) Customer Services Operations Division Award ceremony held in Johannesburg, South Africa on November 24, 2011.
Safmarine’s on-site Customer Services Agent, Ammie Holmes, received the 2011 Ford Ambassador Award for his dedicated service to Ford, while Safmarine also took two other awards, which included a gold certificate of recognition in the Excellence in Service Provision category, and the silver trophy in the same category for overall second place.
Safmarine’s Ammie Holmes was commended by Ford for “leaving nothing to chance, for having a cheerful nature, which made dealing with Safmarine a pleasure”.
Safmarine’s Ford Global Key Account Owner, Dave Everett said that this prestigious recognition from Ford was made possible by the dedicated Pretoria branch office and Pretoria operations team for Ford. “Thank you to Safmarine’s Ford team for the excellent customer service. Without your dedicated service such achievements would not be possible. We are very proud of Ammie Holmes and Ross Kyle (Ford Key Account Manager), who have gone beyond what is expected of them.”
