Transoil carries 4.2m tons of fuel oil from Kirishi refinery to Ust-Luga
In January-November Transoil hauled about 4.2 million tons of fuel oil from Kirishi refinery en route the Kirishi - Luzhskaya stations to oil terminal in Ust-Luga, the company report said. Previously, the commodity was transshipped in Estonia.
Since the launch in January 2011 of the rail service, monthly traffic of oil products has soared by eight times to 600,000 tons in November. In addition, since late October, the company has moved some 150,000 tons of fuel oil on the new route – now from Samara refineries to the Ust-Luga facility.
Russian private company LLC Transoil (est. in Aug, 2003) specializes transportation of crude oil and petroleum products.
