Roman Trotsenko: USC’s net income to be at 1-1,5bn rubles this year
This year’s net income of United Shipbuilding Corporation JSC (USC) for 2010 is expected to be at about 1-1,5 billion rubles, PortNews correspondent reports quoting USC CEO and president Roman Trotsenko. Mr. Trotsenko attended the official ceremony at Admiralty Shipyards that handed over the Arctic tanker Kirill Lavrov to the customer in St Petersburg.
USC has reportedly finished 2009 with a profit of 92 million rubles. "This is a very little gain with our $ 150 billion turnover, but much better than a 9bn rubles loss in 2008. This is the first year that we finished with an income", Roman Trotsenko said in May at a meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
United Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC was founded in 2007. The corporation consists of three regional shipbuilding centers: Western Shipbuilding Center JSC (St. Petersburg), the Northern Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair JSC (Severodvinsk), Far Eastern Center of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair JSC (Vladivostok), as well as leading design offices.
