Net loss of Sea Port Saint Petersburg OJSC in the first half of 2006 amounted to 2.374 million rubles against net profit of 7.125 million rubles year-on-year, the company’s report says. Gross profit decreased by a factor of 5.7 amounting to 11.923 million rubles. Profit before taxation increased by 37.7% amounting to 31,643 million rubles. Company’s revenue amounted to 357.023 million rubles, that is 13.5% higher than the results of the previous year.
Sea Port Saint Petersburg unites four stevedoring companies established on the on the basis of the company’s property complex: First Stevedoring Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Stevedoring Forestry Company CJSC, Forth Stevedoring Company CJSC and a number of service companies. Authorized capital of the company amounts to 313 thou 000 rubles being divided into 313 thou 000 ordinary shares, each with a nominal value of 1 ruble.
