Russia is interested in Sakhalin-2 project and the investigation is just the requirement of legislation – Sergej Lavrov
Russia is interested in Sakhalin-2 project and the investigation does not mean that the licenses are to be revoked since it is just the requirement of legislation - Sergej Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister has announced today at International Conference Sakhalin Oil and Gas, PRIME-TASS reports. He also underlined, that that talk of revising production sharing agreements or pushing foreigners out of the Russian energy sector was unfounded. The share of foreign company in Russian oil production sector is growing steadily as well as return from investments, Lavrov says. According to him, the purpose of investigation is just to ensure proper implementation of agreement obligations by all the parties.
