Oil terminal at the south of Moldavia (Djudjulesht village) to be put into operation by the end of 2006
Construction of oil terminal at the south of Moldavia (Djudjulesht village) to be finalized in November 2006. The terminal will be commissioned before the end of 2006 after testing. According to RBC-Ukraine, this information has been provided by Thomas Mozer, Director General of Bemol Retail (former Azpetrol), Bemol Refinery (former Azpetrol Refinery) and Danube Logistics (former Azertrans). He reported that total investments of Bemol Retail and Danube Logistics into construction of a free port at Djudjulesht, will amount to $33 million in 2006. According to him, for moment being the investments amounted to $26 million. Today 85% of the project have been finalized. There are 85 reservoirs at the territory of Djudjulesht port. Their total capacity is 52 thou tons. The terminal will be able to take 1 million tons of oil products per year. They will be delivered by tankers to the terminal and then by motor and railroad transport to customers.
