In 1006 it is planned to spend 25 million rubles for the development of warehouse facilities. Today there are two temporary storage warehouses at Kleshchikha and Barnaul GTS stations of West-Siberian Railway. In 2005 3 million rubles were invested into warehouse for temporary storage of foreign trade cargo at Kleshchikha station. Putting of this warehouse into operation enabled the railway to ensure a set of customs-related services to be rendered to the participants of foreign trade activities. In October two warehouse facilities are to be put into operation at Omsk-Vostochnyj GTS and Tomsk-2 stations. It is also planned to open TSW at Kemerovo-Sortirovochnyj and Novokuznetsk-Vostochnyj stations. Besides, 800 sq.m. warehouse is under reconstruction at Barnaul station. The location of new warehouses is determined by the volume of cargo handled at the stations as well as by their distance from highways.
