Baltic Chemical Terminal to build terminal for liquid chemicals at Sillamae port to a total value of 45-50 million euro (about 750 million krones), Postimees reports. Vitalij Ivanov and Margus Viakhi, members of the port’s Board, Aadu Luukas, chairman of Baltic Chemical Terminal’s Council and Alexander Volokhonskij, chairman of the Board have signed an agreement on cooperation confirming the title for construction of a new terminal. The terminal’s estimated annual capacity is one million tons of waste ammonia products and half a million of waste liquid carbamide. Before concluding the contract, investors of Sillamae port and Baltic Chemical Terminal met Andrus Ansip, Prime-Minister of Estonia Edgar Savisaar, Minister of Economics and Communications, to tell about planned construction.
