IV Caspian Summit concluded with signing a joint declaration (photo)
The Forth Caspian Summit concluded with the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan signing a joint declaration and adopting a final communique, says press center of Kremlin.
The five leaders, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Iran Hassan Rouhani, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, witnessed the signing of the Agreement on Hydrometeorology Cooperation in the Caspian Sea, the Agreement on Cooperation on Disaster Warning and Relief in the Caspian Sea, and the Agreement on Preservation and Rational Use of Caspian Sea Marine Biological Resources.
The leaders of the five countries also made press statements.
The first Caspian summit was held in 2002 in Ashgabat, the second five years later in Tehran, and the third in Baku in 2010. Kazakhstan will become the next host country following the Astrakhan summit.
