First gas carrier calls on port Ust-Luga for test mooring at Sibur terminal (photo report)
As IAA PortNews learnt from St. Petersburg branch of Rosnefteflot CJSC, the Arran, first gas carrier to call on port Ust-Luga, was moored with the assistance of Rosnefteflot tugboats Stavr and Dunai at 11.30. The tanker called on the port for test mooring at Sibur terminal.
Arran sails under the flag of Singapore, its capacity is 3,800 tonnes.
SIBUR is building Ust-Luga LPG transshipment facility, Russia’s largest terminal for transshipment of liquefied petroleum gases with annual capacity of up to 1.5 mln t of LPG and up to 2.5 mln t of light oil products. The construction began in the second quarter of 2012.
