Transportation of oil to China by RZhD OJSC will amount to 11 million tons in 2006. According to RBC, this information has been provided today to reporters in Irkutsk by Alexei Vorotilkin, head of the Eastern Siberian Railway (part of the Russian Railway). Earlier, railway officials spoke of 15 million tons. The Russian Railway reviewed the forecast after it had analyzed applications from oil companies, according to the press service of the Eastern Siberian Railway. In 2005, the Russian Railways transported 9.3 million tons of oil to China.
