Kuehne+Nagel (Germany) opens logistics center in Ukraine
Following the completion of the second phase of construction, Kuehne+Nagel has opened its new logistics centre in Gostomel in the Kiev region, eyefortransport.com reports.
The logistics centre now offers 18,500 m2 of warehouse space and includes office premises for the company’s forwarding and administrative departments. The facility is equipped with highly flexible information technology and complies with all current quality and security requirements. According to Klaus-Michael Kuehne, executive chairman of K+N’s board of directors, the investment in this logistics facility is a key element in the company’s growth strategy, and underlines its confidence in this dynamic economic region. Kuehne+Nagel has been operating in Ukraine since 1992. The national company was established in 1997 and currently operates branch offices in the country’s major centres of industry and trade.
