Income of Black Sea Shipping Company (Ukraine) to grow by 26% in 2006
Income of Black Sea Shipping Company (Ukraine) to reach 17 million hryvnias in 2006 (grow of 26% against year-on-year results). This information has been provided RBC-Ukraine referring to Evgenij Kozhevin, President of BSSC. According to him, increase of receipts is supported by the services of customs brokers, transportation and production. For example, leasing out of just Lesozavodsk training vessel at the port of Odessa resulted in receipt of 0.6 million hryvnias. Today the company has no debt on wages; total account receivable is 56.6 million hryvnias. Its payment is carried out within the readjustment program approved by the Council of Creditors and branch ministry. Today the company works together with State Property Fund on the return of a number of tankers as well as of $110 million of accounts receivable and on attraction of investments for purchase of vessels.
