Peter Parinov: Throughput of the Big Port of St. Petersburg to be at 55m tons by the end of this year

At the same time, he said, in general, the port’s annual throughput capacity is up to 100 million tons with the operation of the so-called avantports.
As an earlier report said, the eight-month throughput of the Big Port of St. Petersburg had gained 14%, compared with the same period in 2009, to 36,945,300 tons, and last year’s volume of cargo handled at the port made up 50, 4 million tons.
