Russ. Govt. sets Vladivostok Port’s boundaries
By the decree of the Russian Federation Government (September 4, 2010 N1462-p) the boundaries of the sea port of Vladivostok were established. The Big Stone terminal was included in the port’s newly set boundaries. The project of the port’s boundaries was prepared by the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport jointly with FSI Seaport Vladivostok Authority, Rosmorrechflot said.
Vladivostok Port, located on the ice-free Golden Horn Bay shores, is one of the largest ports in the Far East of Russia. The major stevedore operating at the port is Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port PJSC. In 2009, the port’s throughput reached 15.65 million tons.
