Container turnover at Hong Kong port is up 14.2% in Jan-Aug., to 15.55 m TEUs
Eight-month container volume at port of Hong Kong (China) increased by 14.2% from the same period of 2009, to 15.55 million TEUs, the HK Port Authority said. Container throughput of the port’s largest terminal Kwai Tsing grew 14.4%, to 11.37 million TEUs.
In August, HK Port’s container volume gained 9.8% to 2,08 million TEUs.
