Crude exports via Varandei terminal reaches 565,200 tons in August
The volume of exported crude oil through the terminal Varandei in the Barents Sea, owned by LUKOIL JSC made up 565,200 tons in August 2010, PortNews IAA reported citing the Port Authority.
Currently, the exported oil from Timan-Pechora province is carried through a special pipeline to the new terminal Varandey and then transported by tankers of Sovcomflot.
