Loss of Sea Port Saint Petersburg OJSC in the first half of 2006 amounted to 2.374 million rubles as compared with 30.219 million rubles in the first half of 2005. This information has been provided by the press service of Sea Port Saint Petersburg OJSC. IN the second quarter of 2006 net profit of Sea Port Saint Petersburg OJSC amounted to 27.845 million rubles, that is 10.6% more than the result of the similar period of the previous year. According to the press release, the growth of the company’s net profit resulted from distribution of dividends upon shares by subsidiary companies based on the results of 2005. Sea Port Saint Petersburg Group includes First Stevedoring Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Stevedoring Forestry Company CJSC, Forth Stevedoring Company CJSC and a number of service companies. Specific share of the Group in cargo turnover of the Big Port over the first 6 months of 2006 amounted to 22 %.
